About Me

My name is David Tocchini, I am a Creative Writing graduate from San Jose State but have a previous background in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management with a Culinary Degree which helps add an applied nuance to my skills.

I am native to the Bay Area and grew up in San Mateo. Just about a few years ago I returned from a year abroad in the smallish town of Okayama, Japan, and graduated early pandemic. My main education is in Creative Writing but originally at SJSU I was a Hospitality student with an emphasis in business and marketing prior to my major switch. I also have a Culinary Degree and Worked in a few high-profile restaurants like Michael Mina SF. I also did a stage at Restaurant Aimable in Okayama, Japan while I was studying at Okayama University.

I have spent the last few years helping small brands, businesses, and creators consolidate their social media presence and plan out and schedule consistent uploads. This has helped round me out as a jack of all trades. For anything content related from copy to video production and editing I can do it. 

These last two years have been rough in different ways for many people. Corona happened to us all, and I’d love to give back to those in the bay area who have thrived through all of the struggles that seem to keep on coming.
